Eid al Adah will be celebrated on Friday, November 27, 2009 in North America and other parts of the world.
No annual event on the face of the globe, religious or non-religious, compares to hajj in terms of the sheer number of participants, duration of the event and the breadth of agenda.
Nearly three million pilgrims from around the world will gather in the plain of Arafat on Thursday, November 26, marking the climax of the annual Hajj.
Muslims worldwide will commemorate the Hajj on Friday, November 27, 2009 where they will celebrate Eid Al-Adha, (Festival of Sacrifice) to honor the sacrifice of Prophet Abraham.
